Any amount helps! As a volunteer-run, grass-roots organization, your gift goes a long way and directly helps animals animals in need. Financial assistance helps us with the following:

  • Vehicle transport of animals from Anahim Lake to Williams Lake (or other centres) for vet care and/or rescue transfer.

  • Cargo flight expenses to transfer animals to larger centres for rescue transfer.

  • Food/supplies for stray or surrendered animals in our Safe Haven program, and for pregnant and whelping dogs in the community.

  • Vaccines and dewormer for program animals and pets of low-income families.

  • Veterinary supplies to stabilize injured or sick dogs who don't have access to a clinic.

  • Spay/neuter transport and subsidies

  • Construction of safe and heated kennels to safely house surrendered or at-risk pets/litters.

We gratefully accept donations by email transfer, PayPal, cheque or cash. Email transfers or questions can be sent to

We are a registered non-profit society in BC but (in part to keep our administrative expenses low) we are not currently a Registered Charity. We are unable to issue tax receipts for donations at this time.

Our community pets do not have a lot of the creature comforts many pets take for granted. Some may not even have a reliable source of food.

Your donation of new or gently-used supplies helps us care for Safe Haven dogs and improve the quality of life of community pets. Our "wish list" includes:

  • Food (cat or dog, any brand)

  • Blankets, towels, or bedding

  • Poop bags

  • Metal food dishes

  • First aid supplies - vet wrap, antiseptic, medical tape, pain meds

  • Dewormer

  • Collars, leashes, and slip leads

  • Muzzles (all sizes)

  • Toys and treats

  • Potty pads

  • Crates (all sizes)

  • Storage containers

  • Gas cards

We have drop-off locations in Anahim Lake, Williams Lake, and various Metro Vancouver communities. Email if you have something to share!

As a new organization, we'll need all the help we can get! We particularly need help in these areas:

  • Transport - do you drive any part of the way between Anahim Lake, Williams Lake, and Vancouver? Could you help move crated animals or supplies?

  • Supply drives - do you have the ability to collect or store donations of food and supplies for us?

  • Special skills - do you have a talent that can help us build a thriving, sustainable organization? A flair for administration, accounting, fundraising, or marketing? Please get in touch!
